CHAPTER 478.

OF CONSTABLES.

AN ACT authorizing the appointment of one additional constable in New Castle County.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Slate of Delaware in General Assembly met:

SECTION I. That the Levy Court of New Castle county be and the said Levy Court is hereby authorized and required to appoint one additional constable for New Castle County who shall reside in the city of Wilmington, in Wilmington Hundred, in said county. Said constable shall have all the powers and perform all the duties pertaining to the office of constable under the Laws of this State. The office of constable hereby created shall continue until this act shall be repealed and appointments thereto shall be made and vacancies filled in the same manner as provided in similar cases by the laws and constitution of this State.
