AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 49, CHAPTER 158, VOLUME 36, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, BEING THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF DOVER, RELATING TO THE DURATION OF TAX LIENS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Section 49, Chapter 158, Volume 36, Laws of Delaware, as amended by Chapter 99, Volume 38, Laws of Delaware, and Chapter 323, Volume 48, Laws of Delaware, by striking the final paragraph of the present Section 49 in its entirety and by substituting in lieu thereof a new final paragraph of Section 49 to read as follows:
"The provisions of §8705, Title 9 of the Delaware Code shall be deemed and held to apply to all taxes laid and imposed under the provisions of this Act.".
