AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE CRIMES OF POSSESSION OF A DEADLY WEAPON DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY AND POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend § 1447(b) of Title 11 of the Delaware Code by inserting between the phrases "be eligible for" and "probation or parole" as they appear therein the phrase "good time,".
Section 2. Amend § 1447A of Title 11 of the Delaware Code by re-designating subsections (d), (e) and (f) of said section as subsections (e), (f) and (g), respectively.
Section 3. Amend § 1447A of Title 11 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection (d) thereto, to read as follows:
"(d) Any sentence imposed for a violation of this section shall not be subject to suspension and no person convicted for a violation of this section shall be eligible for good time, parole or probation during the period of the sentence imposed."
