CHAPTER 157.

OF FISH, OYSTERS AND GAME.

AN ACT to further protect. Muskrats.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That from and after the approval of this Act it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to hunt, take, catch or kill any muskrat or muskrats with dog or dogs.

Section 2. That all persons violating the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace, shall for each and every offense be fined a sum not exceeding five dollars, and in default of the payment of the said fine and costs shall be imprisoned for not less than twenty days.
