CHAPTER 37

Of Valuation of Property.

AN ACT TO EXEMPT CERTAIN LANDS AND TENEMENTS OF INCORPORATED FRATERNITIES, ESTABLISHED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY COLLEGE IN THIS STATE, FROM TAXATION FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That lands and tenements and the buildings and improvements thereof, of the value of ten thousand dollars, owned by any incorporated Fraternity, established by the Students of and in connection with any College, in this State, and used by said Fraternity and not held as an investment shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be exempt from all taxes or assessments for municipal purposes.

Section 2. That all acts or parts of acts, inconsistent herewith, are hereby repealed.
