CHAPTER 293
OF GUARDIANS AND WARDS.
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 78 OF THE REVISED CODE OF THIS STATE AS THE SAME WAS AMENDED AND PUBLISHED IN A. D. 1893, BY PROVIDING THAT ACCOUNTS OF GUARDIANS SHALL BE PASSED IN THE ORPHANS' COURT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Chapter 78 of the Revised Code of this State as the same was amended and published in A. D.1893, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out of the third line of said Section 3 the word " register " and by inserting in lieu thereof the words following viz : "the Orphans' Court in which such guardian was appointed."
SECTION 2. Further amend said Section 3 of said Chapter 78 of said Revised Code by striking out of the eighth line of said Section 3 the words " Register of Wills" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words following, viz: "said Orphans' Court."
SECTION 3. Further amend said Section 3 of said Chapter 78 of said Revised Code by striking out of said Section 3 the word " register" wherever the said word occurs in the tenth and twelfth lines of said Section 3, and by inserting in lieu thereof in each of said lines the words " said Orphans' Court,"
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Orphans' Court in each county of this State shall procure, at the expense of the County proper and suitable books or records in which he shall cause to be entered or recorded in an accurate manner each and every account of every guardian made and passed in his County:
SECTION 5. That this Act shall not become operative in any County of this State until the termination of the term of office of the present Register of Wills for that County and thereupon it shall become operative in such County.
SECTION 6. That all Acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
