CHAPTER 83.

OF TOWNS, ETC.

AN ACT regulating the Sale of Intoxicating Liquors.

Be it enacted by the Senate ,and House of Representatives of the State Of Delaware in General Assembly met:

SECTION I. Hereafter all licenses to sell intoxicating liquors shall be granted to the tenant or occupant of the house described in the petition. The object of this section being to change the license from a house to a person, and to make the tenant or occupant of the house the applicant; where notice of the application has already been given under the present law, the license, if issued, shall be to the person giving such notice of application.

SECTION 2. That Section 4, Chapter 381, Volume 15, Laws of Delaware, be and the same is hereby re-enacted.

SECTION 3. That all acts or parts of acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
