CHAPTER 74 - SALARIES OF STATE OFFICERS INSURANCE DEPARTMENT INCREASING SALARY OF CHIEF CLERK

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 12 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, ENTITLED "SALARIES OF STATE OFFICERS", RELATIVE TO THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER BY INCREASING THE SALARY OF THE CHIEF CLERK AND MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SAID INCREASE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Chapter 12 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, being 368. Section 6 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the words "Eighteen Hundred Dollars" in line 7 of said section and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

"Twenty-four Hundred Dollars".

Section 2. That, for the purpose of providing funds for the increase in salary as provided in Section 1 of this Act, there is hereby appropriated the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1945, and the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1946, to be paid to said clerk in equal monthly installments.

Section 3. This Act, insofar as it provides an appropriation of moneys, shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the moneys hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Fund of the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
