CHAPTER 64 - APPROPRIATION - DELAWARE STATE EMPLOYEES PENSION ACT

AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE PAYMENT OF PENSION BENEFITS TO CERTAIN STATE EMPLOYEES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE "DELAWARE STATE EMPLOYEES' PENSION ACT" FOR THE FISCAL BIENNIUM BEGINNING JULY 1st, 1945, AND ENDING JUNE 30th, 1947.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated for each of the two fiscal years beginning July 1, 1945, and July' 1, 1946, the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) for the payment of pension benefits to certain state employees under the provisions of the "Delaware State Employees' Pension Act", and the amount hereby appropriated for each of the said years shall be expended by the State Treasurer, for the payment of the monthly pension benefits under the provisions of the aforesaid Pension Act, in the same manner and by the same procedure as salaries are paid for active state employees.

Section 2. This Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the funds hereby appropriated are to be paid out of the General Fund in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
