CHAPTER 766
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11, CHAPTER 3, SUBCHAPTER XXXVI, RELATING TO MALICIOUS MISCHIEF.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (two-thirds of all the members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Title 11, Chapter 3, Subchapter XXXVI, by adding thereto a new section to be designated as Section 693, to read as follows:
§ 693. Breaking or entering, destroying or injuring automatic machines; penalty
Whoever unlawfully and willfully breaks, injures, destroys or detaches any internal or external part of, or inserts any part of his body, key, instrument or device of any kind, into any vending machines, coin telephone, or any instrument, machine, apparatus, meter or device which is operated or intended to be operated by the use or insertion thereinto of any coin with the intent to remove any money or items therefrom shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
