AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 11, TITLE 12 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO UNCLAIMED OR ABANDONED PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section-1. Amend subparagraphs (1), (2) and (5) of 51170 (a), Chapter 11, Title 12 of the Delaware Code by striking the words "25 years" in each place it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the words "7 years".
Section 2. Effective Date. This Act shall apply to unclaimed or abandoned property reports required to be made after January I, 1986.
