AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 41, TITLE 21, DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO HANDICAPPED PERSONS PARKING AREAS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section I. Amend §4183, Title 21, Delaware Code by striking subsection (b) thereof and substituting In lieu thereof the following:
"(b) For the purpose of this section, the term "vehicle of the handicapped" shall mean a vehicle which: (1) is displaying a special handicapped registration plate on the rear of the vehicle Issued pursuant to §2134 of this title or a vehicle displaying a special handicapped ID parking card In the windshield, such ID card Issued pursuant to §2135 of this title, or a plate or permit Issued under a similar provision in another jurisdiction; and (2) in which a handicapped person is either the operator or passenger.
