AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 189, VOLUME 43 OF THE LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE TOWN OF WYOMING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. Amend paragraph 13, Section 15, Chapter 189, Volume 43 of the Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the figure “$250,000” as it appears therein and by substituting in lieu thereof the figure “$400,000”.

Section 2. Amend Section 38, Chapter 189, Volume 43 of the Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the phrase “Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)” as it appears therein and by substituting in lieu thereof the phrase “Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00)”.

Section 3. If any provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such invalidity or unenforceablility shall not affect other provisions or applications of this act which can be given effect without the invalid or unenforceable provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this act are hereby declared to be severable.

Section 4. This Act shall become effective upon its enactment into law.
