AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 237, VOLUME 51, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REINCORPORATE THE TOWN OF BRIDGEVILLE" PERMITTING THE COMMISSIONERS OF BRIDGEVILLE BY ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH ELECTION DISTRICTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. Amend Section 5, Chapter 237, Volume 51, Laws of Delaware, as amended, relating to Elections, by adding a new initial paragraph, as follows:
“Section 5. Elections.
The Commissioners may by ordinance establish five (5) representative districts in Bridgeville. Five (5) members of the Commissioners of Bridgeville shall be nominated and elected from the several districts in which they reside. The Commissioners shall redistrict within one (1) year of the completion of the U.S. decennial census and may redistrict within one (1) year of the annexation of new territory within the Town limits.”.
