AN ACT TO AMEND TITLES 3 AND 12 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ESCHEATS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend section 1198(9) of Title 12 of the Delaware Code adding a new paragraph “c.” to read as follows:
“c. Notwithstanding the foregoing, “Period of dormancy” means the full and continuous period of one year following the last day of the meet with respect to sums held for the payment of outstanding pari-mutuel tickets from the meet.”
Section 2. Amend section 1198(11) of Title 12 of the Delaware Code by renumbering the existing paragraph xii as paragraph xiii and by inserting a new paragraph xii to read as follows: “sums held for the payment of outstanding pari-mutuel tickets;”
Section 3. Amend Title 3 of the Delaware Code by striking sections 10059 and 10168 in their entity.
