AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DELAWARE LOTTERY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend § 4801(b)(2), Title 29 of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase “and controls exist” and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
“and/or such immediately adjacent property(ies) that are owned by, or immediately adjacent properties that may be acquired by, the video lottery licensee as defined in § 4805(b)(13) of this Chapter, and where controls exist”.
Section 2. Amend § 4819(a), Title 29 of the Delaware Code by inserting before the semi-colon the words:
“and/or such immediately adjacent property(ies) that are owned by, or immediately adjacent properties that may be acquired by, the video lottery licensee authorized to conduct such horse racing or harness racing”.
Section 3. Amend § 4819(b), Title 29 of the Delaware Code by deleting the phrase “on such property” and inserting after the phrase “provisions of this act” the following:
“on such property and/or on any immediately adjacent property(ies) that are owned by, or immediately adjacent properties that may be acquired by, the video lottery licensee authorized to conduct such horse racing or harness racing”.
Section 4. This Act shall be effective upon its enactment into law.
