AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE (IID) PROGRAM.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 4177G(f)(1)d., Title 21 of the Delaware Code by inserting the following after the phrase "any jurisdiction" and before the semicolon ";" appearing therein:
"that would prohibit the issuance of the IID, unless it is determined by the Secretary of Transportation or the Secretary’s designee that the individual is eligible for reinstatement.".
Section 2. This Act shall become effective immediately upon enactment.
