Bill Details

6/24/99
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 5, TITLE 7 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LICENSES.
The purpose of this Act is to reduce the number of separate licenses the Department must process, and which the sportsman must purchase and carry, by creating dual and tri-purpose licenses. The effect should be to reduce "person hours" as well as "paper-flow" within the Department and to make the licensing easier for the private vendors, the citizen, and the Department. The discount of $4.75 per "Class 1 License" and $3.00 per "Class 2 License" should encourage earlier purchase of licenses which are usually purchased separately later in the year and thus increase cash flow to the State in the early part of the year, thereby off-setting the cost with cash flow, decreased "person hours," and decreased "paper flow".
