AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO SENTENCING AND THE UNIFORM LAW FOR OUT-OF-STATE PAROLEE'S SUPERVISION.

This Act is the newly adopted Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision, replacing a Compact adopted over 60 years ago that has become unenforceable between the states, as there is no mechanism to monitor offenders movements; inability to track sex-offenders; inability to notify victims, law enforcement and communities of movement of serious offenders, and the lack of a mechanism for non-compliance on violations of the current Compact.
