AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 19 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO NOTICE OF MONITORING.
This Act limits the current statutory requirement that employers who monitor their employees Internet usage, E-mail or telephone conversations provide notice of such monitoring to employers with a place of business in Delaware, and only to activities of a Delaware employee. The Act also allows the notice to be given electronically at least once during each day, and allows employee receipt of the one-time notice to be acknowledged electronically.
